I had a profound and interesting idea to blog about...but I've forgotten what that was!
Just got back from the mainland and meetings with my partners at Wedler Engineering LLP. Facebook better watch out because Wedler is coming!
Municipal elections are this weekend. I'll be glad when that is all over as it is effecting our workload...no municipal staff want to take anything to Council and no developers do either...hopefully budgets are approved quickly and the world keeps going...
On the biking front, I actually rode bikes TWO DAYS IN A ROW! I ended up shuttling Forbidden Plateau Saturday and Sunday. I even felt like I was riding fast!

I'd like to think I looked this good on the weekend...but Gordon Ross always makes me look good!
OK - a very talented and attractive friend of mine has reminded me of what I intended to blog about...rocket science. You all know the expression that is commonly used to state something isn't complicated - you know "It's not rocket science". Well - that is really beginning to bug me. You see, rocket science in and of itself isn't very complicated. In fact, its governed by about two to three relatively straightforward equations! Compared to some higher scientific pursuits, rocket science is dead easy!
Now, Quantum Physics on the other hand...that is a very complicated subject. Seriously - the "Large Hadron Collider" one of the most complex pieces of machinery ever built, has nothing to do with "rocket science" and everything to do with quantum phyisics.

I took this photo on Mt. Brooks last spring...its almost time to make turns like this again!
So - I propose that the expression "it's not like its rocket science" be replaced with "its not like its quantum physics". Much more appropriate - and definitely complicated!
